The CSU Institute for Palliative Care is dedicated to raising public awareness of palliative care in San Diego, California and beyond. Our goal is to help seriously or chronically ill individuals, their families and friends recognize palliative care as a means to alleviate suffering and maximize their quality of life. Healing takes many forms and art is one of the most powerful ways to heal the heart. This course will be led by artistic veterans with an eye for art and a compassionate heart. This one day course will allow you to learn healing skills and an opportunity to express yourself artistically.

Whether you are the caregiver or the person facing serious illness, you’ll appreciate the candid, caring, and helpful information presented in this FREE, three-part series.
Our mobile society sometimes makes caregiving a challenge. Yet, there are proven techniques and resources available to those caring for loved ones across town or across the country. This self-paced course teaches individual caregivers and professional caregivers considerations around legal care and personal care. It provides insights into how to prioritize a visit, useful resources, and innovative solutions to common problems when caring for a loved one at a distance. *Since this is a self-paced course, you can register at any time.
