As the nation’s only academic conference on palliative care, the National Symposium for Academic Palliative Care Education and Research brings together teachers, researchers, and practitioners to share cutting-edge work to advance the care of persons living with serious illness and their communities. Join us for an interdisciplinary event that will contribute to our pedagogical, scientific, policy, and practice efforts to change the way that healthcare is delivered in the United States.

The National Symposium provides opportunities for collaboration through a multidisciplinary lens. Professionals from the fields of medicine, nursing, social work, chaplaincy, public health, and mental/physical health are encouraged to submit their work.

The theme for this year’s conference is: Rooted in Compassion: Growing Connections for Broader Impact
