Palliative Care Funding Opportunities 2018-2019
If you have an interest in palliative care or are currently teaching/conducting research in palliative care, there are a number of funding opportunities from the CSU Institute for Palliative Care at CSUSM available to support your work:
Deadline: September 19th, 2018
Scholarship applications to cover registration at the CSU Institute for Palliative Care’s National Symposium, October 11-12, 2018 in San Diego.
Deadline: September 26th, 2018
Palliative Care professional development grant of up to $750; may include travel (including travel to the National Symposium).
Faculty Learning Community
Deadline: September 11th, 2018
New FLC on Palliative Care and Family Caregiving focused on providing support to family members who are caring for a seriously or chronically ill loved one ($500 professional development stipend for the year).

CHANGING TIDES: INNOVATION IN PALLIATIVE CARE
Palliative care professionals are encouraged to join the CSU Institute for Palliative Care at Cal State San Marcos and the San Diego Coalition for Compassionate Care for a full day of learning and collaboration on June 7th, in the university ballroom. This year’s theme—Changing Tides: Innovation in Palliative Care—highlights innovative and successful palliative care approaches.
